The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling. During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home. 1. iRobot Roomba S9+ The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once top rated robot vacuum Robot Vacuum Mops is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned. This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with the next models. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models. iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price. Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates. The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt. For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving along. The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin. You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects. The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive—it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds—the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7. This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed. Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, so you can use it even if you're away from home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route. The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The central control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children. The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
